AboutIn 2007, Charles-f.Ouellet and Nicolas Lévesque founded a photographic collective which would become, with the arrival of Christian Lamontagne in 2009, the photographers' association KAHEM. This association of Canadian photographers aims to showcase a regard d’auteur of a constantly-changing world, through journalistic and documentary photography. Provocatively subjective, the KAHEM photographers question social trends and put the spotlight on major issues in modern society. KAHEM produces reports and photographic essays destined for newspapers, magazines, and other publications in both written and electronic form. KAHEM has a bank of over 10 000 images which may be consulted on line and on request. The web site gives the photographers of the association freedom of expression and provides a place where they may publicize their most recent works. |
